The Artists in Education Gallery is the section of Gallery Town that engages with Rotherham’s local schools and colleges and aims to inspire creativity and achievement amongst Rotherham’s young. Gallery Town works closely with Rotherham’s Schools Effectiveness service in inspiring their ‘Picture This’ scheme as well as hosting micro-projects including the successful Urban Piano’s project and the upcoming Down Town Junk 2 Up Town Funk workshops which will see school pupils turn recycled materials into works of art.
